Surprise! Surprise!

I must admit that I went to Prime Pilates because I am a good friend of Julie’s family. Imagine my surprise when, after only one session, I became “hooked.” Never did I think, as I near the 60 mark, that I would become such a devotee of not just Pilates, but Prime Pilates in particular. I felt stronger and taller after my one lesson. I knew I had to register for more. And I have no regrets. In fact, I feel myself become stronger, healthier, and more energetic after each session. Not only is Pilates itself a healthy, worthwhile exercise, Julie is a fantastic teacher. Her first concern is for the health and safety of her clients. The studio is pristine clean. As a teacher myself, I find in her all the positive attributes of a good teacher. She is extremely knowledgeable, encouraging, and actually fun during this strenuous (but not debilitating) workout. I wholeheartedly recommend Prime Pilates to everyone…..young and old.

Prime Pilates plus Julie Watstein is the perfect combination for getting your body in shape! I love happy hour cocktails and dessert and with Julie working me out, I can have BOTH! Julie brings energy and passion and truly professional knowledge to Pilates. While working out with her twice a week, I saw my body transformed before my very eyes! Now, this is a HARD workout. Julie is tough but the results are worth every minute and dollar invested.

I’m so pleased that I have finally found “something” that makes sense for my social and non grass eating lifestyle that is effective and is a solid exercise routine that has changed the way I view working out. In addition, consistent Pilates has lowered my blood pressure and just makes me smile out loud all the way to class. All instructors are not created equally! Age 40 (and Fabulous)

Two years ago I had a total hip replacement. I am in the 55+ bracket and training with Julie at Prime Pilates has been one of my best investments in my mental and physical well being. Julie pays attention to my discomforts (legitimate ones) and with knowledge and creativity adjusts and varies my workout so I am able to effectively work my total body at each session. After my sessions I feel stronger, longer, lighter and in control of my body. With Julie’s encouragement and support “You have to be kidding” becomes “OK I will try” and then “I did it!” Thank you Julie.
